I have many landing pages all trying to build a central site. So all these landing pages are constructed individually and provides links to the central site. But all these landing pages, including the central site, the area of all hosts of a hosting account.Does this matter in terms of SEO and page rank? Will I be better off getting different hosting accounts for each landing page?

I think James must be talking about if you simply point the DNS for her domain to the same root folder as your web site then the search engines will see both sites separately and having the same duplicate content. But even so, there is no "penalty" for duplicate content. Matt Cutts from Google has stated this on numerous occasions.
