How does Hosting affect SEO?

Postby sdjeah » Wed Aug 04, 2010 7:37 am

I have many landing pages all trying to build a central site. So all these landing pages are constructed individually and provides links to the central site. But all these landing pages, including the central site, the area of all hosts of a hosting account.Does this matter in terms of SEO and page rank? Will I be better off getting different hosting accounts for each landing page?

If a website is hosted on a SEO web hosting plan that offers multiple IP addresses, then one needs to host a website or blog like wordpress on each separate Classic C IP. Articles need to be posted regularly, and each should contain links to the target site.

The fact that Google indexes your IP address, but usually only use them to define diversity by comparing the inverse C-IP and the links that come from them. Hosting not affect your ranking any how. Until and unless the domain does not change, things have to be perfect, even after a series of changes. Also, if you have a dedicated hosting, and IP has been banned around the site, Google do not like at all. Its always better to be known as a good host provider that has good sites hosted.

Search engines evaluate all websites based on a number of factors. The evaluation aims to do four main things for the search engine results:

1. Ensure quality and relevance of results
2. Avoid duplication of results
3. Avoid delivery of multiple results from the same basic provider
4. Avoid delivery of untrustworthy results

Hosting not strike your placing any how. Until and unless the domain does not change, things have to be perfect, even later a series of changes. Also, if you have a devoted hosting, and IP has been banned around the site, Google do not like at all. Its always improve to be known as a beneficial host supplier that has good sites hosted. The fact that Google indicators your IP address, but normally only use them to define variety by equating the reverse C-IP and the links that come from them.

I think James must be talking about if you simply point the DNS for her domain to the same root folder as your web site then the search engines will see both sites separately and having the same duplicate content. But even so, there is no "penalty" for duplicate content. Matt Cutts from Google has stated this on numerous occasions.
